Senior Network Administrator

Required Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent is required.
  • Professional Certification such as MCSE/CCNA would be a plus.
  • Experience with WINDOWS 2000/2003 SERVER, WINDOWS XP/ VISTA, Linux Operating Systems, MAC, iOS, Internet Services DNS/Mail/POP, Firewalls, Routers, ANTIVIRUS, Network Management (SNMP) is required.
  • Hands on experience of IT, Hardware/Software and Client support is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience with Backup and Recovery procedures is required.
  • Experience in technology assessment and product recommendation is required.
  • Team management skills and Leadership skills are required.
  • Good analytical skills and decision-making ability is required.
Job Description
  • Manage the company network.
  • Monitoring and administration of network health and performance.
  • Administration and maintenance of VPN connectivity with remote sites.
  • Manage network management systems using SNMP.
  • Maintain firewalls, routers, switches, WAN equipment and document all changes to configurations.
  • Implement security policies.
  • Develop and maintain the backup and security policy.
  • Deal with suppliers for hardware and software procurement.
  • Stay in touch with current technologies, serve as technology consultant, and consistently make recommendations for improvement based on knowledge, experience and research.
